deVere China sponsors VSO corporate volunteer program
The China branch of the deVere Group, the World's Largest Independent Group of Financial Advisors, has proudly started a 1 year marketing support program with Voluntary Services Overseas (VSO) the world's leading international development charity.
VSO’s corporate volunteering program notably supports companies with community engagement and employee volunteering in their sustainability and corporate social responsibility programs.
The deVere Group’s support is managed by Senior Financial Consultant Stephen Couch and Business Coordinator Paul Blackler from the deVere Shanghai office.
Paul Blackler first volunteered with VSO during a one year placement in Gambia in 2008 and commented that, “I am delighted to be able to connect my current work at deVere with VSO's new initiative in China and to strengthen the organisation’s 50 years work supporting to fight poverty in developing countries”.
VSO China’s General Manager Simon Brown also added, “VSO is extremely grateful to the deVere Group for its partnership in marketing VSO’s products in China and to its support of charitable sector capacity building that benefits the least advantaged people of China”.
